The international tech event Valencia Digital Summit (VDS) will hold its seventh edition on October 23-24 at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. The VDS Startup Competition aims to identify and reward the most innovative startups with the greatest societal impact. This year, over 800 startups from 65 countries applied, with 71% of the selected companies coming from outside Spain.
A jury of renowned international experts, including representatives from TNW, Antler, LUMO Labs, Arches Capital, Paradise Club, and Katapult, selected the 50 semifinalist startups. These companies will have the opportunity to present their projects to more than 12,000 professionals attending the event.
The 50 selected startups will compete for a spot in the VDS Startup Competition finals, where 10 startups in the Early Stage Track and 10 in the Growth Stage Track will present their projects on the main stage on October 23. The winners will receive various prizes, including an exhibition space for VDS2025 and the chance to automatically qualify for the semifinals of the 2024 Startup World Cup, which offers a $1,000,000 investment prize.
