Viewed collaborates with the Gavi Alliance to save children's lives

Viewed, the leading video email marketing platform, is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Gavi Alliance, an organization committed for the past 15 years to saving the lives of millions of children worldwide who lack access to vaccines. Through its support of the La Caixa social project and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Viewed joins this noble cause as a Silver Sponsor, demonstrating its social commitment and determination to make a positive impact on society.

The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the value of vaccines in protecting children from potentially deadly diseases. In fact, vaccines are the safest and most cost-effective investment for preventing diseases and saving lives. Each year, vaccines save more than five lives per minute and prevent up to three million deaths. However, millions of children still lack access to vaccines, which is why Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, tirelessly works to improve access to underutilized and new vaccines.

Since its establishment in 2000, Gavi has helped vaccinate over 981 million children, preventing more than 16.2 million future deaths. As Gavi's first private partner in Europe, the La Caixa Foundation has been instrumental in the organization's success. The Child Vaccination Alliance, created by the La Caixa Foundation, has provided the opportunity for businesses, customers, and CaixaBank employees to join the fight against child mortality as part of their corporate social responsibility, philanthropic initiatives, and micro-donations.

The commitment of all donors, along with the La Caixa Foundation's annual commitment to match all received donations and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's Matching Fund initiative, has enabled the vaccination of nearly 9 million children, including 860,000 in 2022. Since 2019, all contributions made by the La Caixa Foundation, in conjunction with the Gavi Matching Fund, have financed 100% of the budget allocated to pneumonia vaccines in Mozambique and 44% in Ethiopia. These funds play a crucial role in preventing this disease, which is the leading cause of child mortality from infectious diseases worldwide.

At Viewed, we believe that every company must play a role in building a better future for all. We hope that our commitment inspires other companies to join this cause and fight against child mortality. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of children worldwide and provide them with a healthier and promising future.
